Choosing a good pumpkin can make all the difference in your carving adventure.So spend some extra time scooping your pumpkin out and save yourself some trouble later in the process. The thicker the skin, the harder you will have to work. Make sure you scoop your pumpkin out WELL! The more you scoop out your pumpkin, the easier it will be to carve.This will bring up a black and white easy to follow design that can be easily used as a pumpkin carving template. Search for what you are looking for and put “coloring sheet” behind it. Google image search is your friend! If you are looking for a unique design google is your friend.It will settle in the holes and make your design much eaiser to see. The baby powder hack! After you have poked holes in your design and it’s time to cut, it might be a little hard to see where you are supposed to cut right? Grab some baby powder and pour it over your design. These are perfect for the first time or beginner pumpkin carver. They include the tools you need, carving templates, and they even tell you how hard something is going to be. Use a carving kit!
